how to compress images?

Just upgraded to the latest.. (thanks for keeping the best automated software updated!!!)

I have several image processing questions
1. How could I compress the rather large images I'm capturing via jpg, gif etc.
Also any tips on how I can transfer these to image hosting site like imgur....

2. I've been running some javascripts on the DOM contained with the instance.. how can I print local-zenno variables via jquery?

3. I'm getting errors 1 out of about 10 sites with zenno complaining
"excuting action - image processing out of memory"
and
"excuting action - image processing parameter not valid" usually with "excuting action - image processing error loading image"
