Get last line from a table or add line to the top of the table

Hi guys,

I am working on a script that should allow me to compare the updated post title to the last post title I already have in the table.

I have a variable file name, so that the table changes the source on each iteration. Though I have a weird problem.

When I select - "Get line" from a table and specify the number to "Last" (http://screencast.com/t/ZtyvaGpz1C), it works the first time I specify this setting, though after restarting the project - this function fails.

How do I get it to work?

Another option that could work is if I could add a line to the top of the table and just get the First line from that table. Question is - how

Instead of "Last" write "end".

Thank you Dimionix, it sorta worked, but after reloading the project, the problem repeated itself:

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I am also trying to use "dynamic" table sources, meaning that I assign the file name and then use it as variable in "File path":

As you can see, the table knows where to look but "Get line - end" doesn't seem to work.

I also noticed that there are some sort of "different behaviors" with different file extensions. For the time being .txt works best for me - the first time around though :/

I also tried a workaround with "Get lines count" for the table, to use the "last number" for the "Get line" function, and this one didn't work as well - the result I got was - Line count = 0

fixed all the tables handling via "bind to file", now everything works as it should
