Copying variables to a table by column?

Hi, I want to copy some variables to a table by column. I tried the "Word processing - to table" function, used my own text as column separator ( ;; ) but it will not copy the info by column.

I want variable1 to be copied on column A, variable2 on column B and so on, but it will copy all the info on column A. Any ideas? Thanks.

Use Table processing and Add line with your variables separated in there.

I tried that option but it will copy all the info on column A, and I need that the excel shows variable1 in column A, etc. I need to sort a list by columns in excel. Any other idea?

You will have to use a tab between variables in order for it to work right. There seems to be a problem with tables in excel. Use either .xls or .xlsx files and a tab as separator and your tables will come out good. Try anything else like comma separated and you are on your own.
