Wordpress customize.php

Hey!

I'm doing a project for wordpress but I ran into big problems automating the "customizer" part. What I mean is the page customize.php where you can change the logo, favicon etc..

First I tried with a simple record. Not working at all, so many errors.

Then I tried doing a more manual style, with inspecting elements etc.. also no success.

Last I tried with "Search by picture". A little bit better, but still can't get it working. So much trouble uploading and navigating since its all AJAX (i assume?).

Does anyone know a working way of doing this? What I want to do is:
Change the logo
Change the favicon (yes there are plugins for this but want to do it this way)

Is this Customizer actually flash content? How does it look like?

No its ajax i think?

Anyway, i tried all the methods but none could make it work
