Tips on practices to avoid when using Code Creator ?

I have only dabbled with CC and would like to know your experiences so far, any help would be great - for example,

When creating in ProjectMaker then converting to CodeCreator...
Should macros be build outside of the branch the macro is being used ?



What other issues in general when working with CC are to be avoided ? (Mostly PHP over here )
