Email check not working properly - or this interface makes little sense?

So created a template from an old one as such and getting a lot of issues cropping up.
Namely, I cannot fix this problem. I've attached the image.
There are no errors, it finds the email, but when I debug it simply closes the window immediately after finding the email message. It does not send it to the variable, and does not go to the next step

It is pulling the regexp of (?<=http://).*

It should go to window and simply go to that page no? well it's not. it just closes the debug and doesn't even give an error.
The old email parsing was a LOT better.

I had this also. If the GOTO confirmation URL is not grouped with the Receive Email step it doesn't work. Annoying huh? Drag the GOTO URL into the same branch as Receive email and it will work
