Can't get email confirmation to move to next step?

I've set up a simple project to register, confirm email, and visit confirmation link. When I debug, the confirmation link is extracted correctly and placed into {-Variable.confirmationURL-}. I then try to open {-Variable.confirmationURL-} with "Go to page" but nothing happens?

I even added an unsuccesful branch exit -> write to File and that does not trigger either?



The debug ends after the email confirmation step?

I have the same problem. Still no solution

For me, putting the 2 steps into the same "frame" (right below each other) solved this issue.
