Running ActiveX Control / COM Components

I have a few controls that I would like to use in my project, mainly with the processing of images. ZennoPoster is great but there are a few additional tasks I need to be able to do. Can someone advise me if this is possible and how it can be done? This is the control I am using:

section 14.5.1. Code Examples show examples for C#. There are open source projects where you can get .dll files which you can connect to your zenno projects using Own Code ==> GAC References and use functionality in zenno.
