Logic action "Pause", How to Set a Variable Value?

I use the Logic action "Pause", it can set exact value, for example: 30, means Pause 30 seconds;
But if I want to set "Pause" with a variable value, how could I make this?
for example: i have a variable(V1) with value 10, if i set this variable into "Pause" exact field, "Pause" action doesnt work.

It should work. do you have variable like {-Variable.V1-} in pause field ?

It works!
That's my fault. I set the variable "Value" field in variables, it failed;
But if i set the variable "Default Value" field in variables, it worked!
