You know, my kind of thinking differs from how some others think. When I read about the contest, I always keep in mind the reason for it: to maximize amount of interesting information for users - in the language they understand. Following this reason, I would allow translations to take part in a contest in parallel with the original text. *Because it serves the purpose*
But I pretty often see that this logic doesn't really matter for those who are on the other side. They think different. Maybe I just don't really understand their goals.

That section is a real goldmine. Those articles you linked to are quite good (once you translate them). Better stuff than the other IM forums out there!

Ok, if you decide and english tournament alow, i will translate text on english and russian , but i can compete only on russian, becouse there will be bigger competition. This is ok, two text and only on russian for awards ?

Isn't it easier to take part in a contest where competition is weaker?

For money yes, but if someone like compete, better filing is where is competition strong.
